All Purpose

All Purpose (fka Our Place) is the studio led by Ted Heffernan and Alex Gross. We specialise in graphic design, websites, creative direction and type design for websites, digital formats and printed matter. All Purpose is rooted in the visual culture of music, art, fashion and club culture. We collaborate with our clients to form crafted and considered design – creating long lasting relationships that develop with current visual culture, ideas and technology. Our clients are local and international; working in the fields of fashion, music, art and commerce.

We’re currently working on the design and art direction for a new menswear brand, identity and e-commerce experience for a luxury jeweller, as well as the design (and a new typeface) for art and conflict magazine Contra’s third issue, all of which will be ready soon!

Services include visual identity, branding, website design and development, editorial design, art direction, creative direction, type design, animation, exhibition design, signage, design consultation and brand strategy.
